Relaxation Meditation (RM) is the practice of being without doing.

Or, to put it a slightly different way, Relaxation Meditation is the practice of being while doing nothing.

RM is for anyone who wants to learn a method to relax, those who have never meditated and want to learn, and experienced meditators who want a new perspective on the practice. In 3 to 5 sessions, you can learn how and why to meditate.

Gary Halperin, through his workshops and books, has taught thousands of people how to meditate.  He is a certified Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher and Meditation Teacher.  

Gary was a resident, practicing a yogic lifestyle, at the Kripalu Center in Lenox, Massachusettes for 3 years. He has taken meditation trainings with world-renowned teachers such as Deepak Chopra, Rishi Prabhakar, Mickey Singer, and Amrit Desai, and has studied various forms of classical and modern meditation techniques.

Gary has been teaching meditation and yoga since 1994. His meditation clients have included CEO's, political leaders (such as the Mayor of Washington, DC), MD's (such as best-selling author Dr. Norman Rosenthal) and cultural leaders (such as feminist author Naomi Wolf). He is the published author of "Feel Better Now...Meditation for Stress Reduction & Relaxation" and the creator of the "Feel Better Now Yoga" DVD.  

Gary was the Spa Director at the 4-star Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina and the Spa Programs Director at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.  He graduated from Amherst College and served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic.  His clients in Sarasota, Florida have included guests and members of the Longboat Key Club and Resort, the Sarasota Orchestra, the Ringling School of Art and Design, the region's top 10 income producing realtors, and Sarasota County employees.
